We have a new granddaughter!

You might have seen this baby blanket from my previous post. It’s so lovely to see her all wrapped up in it like a burrito.🥰

The cardigan I showed you in my last post is far to big at the moment but she wasn’t even a day old when this was taken so there’s plenty of time for it to fit.

It’s great because her mum loves bright colours too so I’ve made a couple of other items but I do need to stop at this point and wait for her to get a bit bigger!

I’m painting this in acrylics on board. I can’t decide what to do with the owl in terms of colour and texture so at the moment she’s dressed in a wash of diluted white paint as a base.

I’m hoping to make some progress today, I’ll keep you posted when I get to the finish line.😊 See you then!
